Admin Telemetry Preview – How We Balance the Server

We’ve published a temporary preview of our internal item telemetry dashboard:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: item-admin - Mir Vengeance

This page shows the kind of data we (as administrators) can see and use when balancing the server.

To be very clear:

This level of detail will NOT remain public once the server is live.

This preview exists to demonstrate how Mir Vengeance is being built — and why balance decisions are data-driven, not guesswork.

What This Shows

The admin telemetry system allows us to monitor:

• Total items dropped (by time period)
• Pickup rate percentages
• Expired (unlooted) items
• Distribution by map
• Distribution by monster
• Overall circulation efficiency

We can see:

  • Which items are ignored

  • Which items are farmed heavily

  • Which maps are generating excessive volume

  • Whether drop rates are healthy or inflated

  • How quickly items circulate

Most servers never see this data.

We do.

Why This Matters

Balance decisions won’t be based on:

“That feels too common.”
“That seems rare.”
“Players say X is broken.”

They’ll be based on:

  • Actual drop volume

  • Actual pickup behaviour

  • Actual economic impact

This is the difference between running a server…
and engineering one.

Important

Once the server officially launches:

  • Detailed admin telemetry will be removed from public view

  • Only high-level economy stats will remain visible

We are showing this now so players understand the depth of systems being built behind the scenes.

Mir Vengeance is being designed with long-term stability in mind.

This is how we protect the economy.
